Labour leader will argue against redistribution alone, promising to change his party's 'DNA' like Tony Blair 'on steroids'
The Labour leader will say “I don’t care” if internal critics accuse him of taking on theon their own turf, insisting “there are precious things – in our way of life, in our environment, in our communities – that it is our responsibility to protect and preserve and to pass on to future generations”.
Promising to go “further and deeper” than Tony Blair in changing Labour’s “culture” and “DNA”, Sir Keir will seek to capitalise on Tory woes in a direct pitch to voters more naturally inclined to back Rishi Sunak’s party.
But he will insist voters do not have an “appetite for culture war politics” of the Tories, insisting “you don’t need to humiliate people to move our country forward”.
