The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra’s 51st Season opens at 7 p.m. Nov. 4.
"Beatlemania!” at 7 p.m. April 20, 2024, celebrates the fourth concert programming slot of the 51st Season of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra.
She said the confusion comes from the event being held at the 1,500 seat La Porte Civic Auditorium, the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra’s performance venue home. The 29th Annual Holiday at the Pops Concert is 7 p.m. Dec. 9. Like Hoosier Star, the holiday concert is also an add-on ticket purchase or table reservation which is not included as part of the subscription series.
“We have a great season to look forward to, and I’m fortunate enough to get help leading it,” Yiannias said. Maestro Rick DeJonge is this year’s guest conductor for the interactive concert designed for young audiences, and it includes many of his own compositions and arrangements.Free education guides are distributed in advance to help teachers create classroom assignments and curriculums to pair with the free, fun concert opportunity, which is made possible by both underwriting and sponsor support.
