ByCops in Louisiana were conducting a traffic stop when one of them was suddenly attacked by a “feral pet squirrel.”how two deputies in Livingston Parish—which is part of the Baton Rouge metro area—had pulled over a tow truck when the incident occurred. They were searching the truck in question when the driver’s pet squirrel suddenly busted out of its cage.
Sounds almost like some sort of made-up slapstick comedy skit, right? Well, There’s video proof of it.its Facebook PageThe video shows both of the deputies outside the truck with the passenger side door open. Suddenly, one of them begins to frantically whirl around and—if you peer at the footage closely—you can catch the blur of a squirrel running over his shoulders and back at one point.how no one was injured as a result of the squirrel’s rampage.
And while no one would be cool if a mad squirrel was attacking them, Facebook users who commented on the video let fly the pithy remarks in making fun of the poor deputy.“I’m going to hell for laughing so hard,” states another. And then: “You’d think after wrestling enough meth addicts in [Livingston Parish] they’d be prepared for a feral squirrel.”
The driver whom the squirrel belonged to was arrested, although what charges were brought about remains unknown.Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
