According to reports, the officers are seen attacking the victim in what looks like an unprovoked act.
DURBAN - The Kwazulu-Natal police commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, is demanding answers after a viral video footage on social media shows police officers assaulting a person during an operation in Tongaat.
Mkhwanazi said the incident would be investigated, adding that if the cops are found to have acted outside the South African Police Service code of conduct, they would be prosecuted.
