DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal religious leaders said they would change some of their practices to stop the transmission of coronavirus to congregants.

Chairperson of the KwaZulu-Natal Christian Council Cardinal Wilfrid Napier said church services, Easter celebrations, weddings and funerals will not go ahead as usual considering the increasing number of new infections in the country. The cardinal said the coronavirus would not stop them from practicing their religion and expressing their faith but they would implement some changes.Meanwhile, President Cyril Ramaphosa has pleaded with religious leaders to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
