This time around, the most funded programme was institutional development, which has been allocated R329,778,000."This programme comprises the following sub-programmes: Strategic Human Resources, Legal Services, Information Communications Technology, Communication Services, Special Programmes and Forensic Investigations and Integrity Management."
This was followed by policy and governance, with R227,642,000 and his administration got R226,733,000. Parties in the government of provincial unity, the Democratic Alliance , African National Congress , Inkatha Freedom Party and National Freedom Party voted in support of the budget. However, the Progressive Caucus, the Economic Freedom Fighters and uMkhonto weSizwe Party voted against it.
