This comes after a 62-year-old woman was shot and killed in her Umbumbulu home, south of Durban last week.

Reports indicate that after the murder, suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of stokvel money which was kept in the house.
"We appeal to all residents, especially those who were saving money through stokvels throughout the year, we urge them to use bank transfers to share money or any other safe electronic options."
