The Natal Rich Boys have been flirting with promotion for some time now, last season the club secured a spot in the play-offs and lost, and this time around they have led the GladAfrica Championship for majority of the season.
With two games left and needing all six points to get automatic promotion, coach Dladla says club boss Jomo Biyela has made it easy for the side to prepare themselves for the last two games. "To be honest with you the chairman has done everything in his power to make sure we get automatic promotion. He has done everything we need as a team, including sport psychologist to assist players to deal with the pressure," Dladla said, addressing the media in Durban.
"He has invested a lot in us, as well as the technical team, as he wants to make sure we are in a good state of mind as coaches, because if we start panicking, the players will lose confidence." The club has also held meetings with senior players to ensure stability in the camp. "We had a serious meetings with all senior players to make sure our last two games we win them all. We want to make sure that KwaZulu-Natal has another team. I'm now honest, I want that promotion and if I can try to act otherwise, that will mean I'm not confident, so we want to promote this team."
