Kourtney Kardashian And Travis Barker Are Engaged! “In a pair of sweet Instagram posts showing the proposal, kourtneykardash and travisbarker announced their engagement.”
Kourtney captioned the shot, “Forever.” The picture shows the pair embracing inside a heart made out of red roses and candles, on a beach, at sunset, which may actually be the perfect proposal. Barker shared her post on his Instagram stories, adding, “Forever” and an infinity symbol.
Kourtney and Travis have been dating since January, although they didn’t go public with their romance until February, when they shared their first photo together on social media. Since then, though, they’ve beenpublic, even being made fun of for their aggressive PDA by Kourtney’s sister Kim when she hosteda few weeks ago. But hey, power to them if they’re happy, and they sure seem to be happy.
This is Kourtney’s first engagement, though she was with Scott Disick for nearly a decade after they started dating in 2006 and had three children — Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6 — together. Travis was previously married to Melissa Kennedy from 2001 to 2002, and Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. He shares two children — son Landon, 17, and daughter Alabama, 15 — with Moakler.
Both stars’ families seem to be totally onboard with their plans to get married. Kim Kardashian was quick to comment on the news, sharing a slow-motion video of Kourtney and Travis making out with the caption, “KRAVIS FOREVER” and a ring emoji.
