Kodisang has been widely linked with a move to Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season but remains in Portugal with Braga while speculation surrounding his future drags on.
Amid the swirling rumours, the 22-year-old took to the pitch for the reserve team's first pre-season friendly of the campaign as Braga B played out a 1-1 draw against second division side Torreense on Wednesday. Kodisang was introduced as a second-half substitute for the encounter and came close to getting his name on the scoresheet, but ultimately had to settle with a share of the spoils against higher-ranked opposition.GD Chaves on Saturday and it remains to be seen whether or not he will be integrated into first team plans ahead of the new campaign.
Kodisang, who joined Braga from Bidvest Wits in 2019, made his long-awaited debut for the first team in April when he featured as a second-half substitute against Estoril is yet to feature again in the matchday squad. The lack of first-team opportunities is believed to be the root of speculation linking him with a move away from the club, with Kaizer Chiefs having emerged as the favourites to land his signature in the event that an agreement can be reached.
