Hayden Lee Alwood also faces count of failing to stop at scene of accident
A man well known to the police and courts is back in custody following an alleged failed attempt to evade Prince George RCMP.
Instead, Alwood took off at a high rate of speed and police opted against following the vehicle. But several minutes later, RCMP were called to the scene of a collision between the pickup and a cube truck near the 4100-block of First Avenue. RCMP said a loaded firearm and ammunition were found in the truck and a search of Alwood uncovered a quantity of what police suspect is cocaine.
