A Payson man is facing criminal charges after police say took sushi from a store without paying, then confronted officers with a knife before police shot and injured him.
<p>PAYSON — A suspected shoplifter who was shot by police after prosecutors say he wielded a knife at officers and refused to put his weapon down is now facing criminal charges.
</p><p>Officers who spotted Salas walking down the street a short time later ordered him to stop and come to them, but he refused.
