A 33-year-old woman was killed in a shooting at a motel on Aurora Ave. N early Friday morning.
Major Crimes detectives have taken over the investigation.The State of Washington and the U.S. Department of Energy have brokered a deal to address two Hanford storage tanks leaching radioactive waste: one has been leaking for nearly ten years.
One part of the plan calls for barriers to prevent rain and snow melt from seeping into the tanks and pushing more waste out.
