Haaima appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice before justice of the peace David Auger on Monday afternoon. He is represented by defence counsel Paul Blais. The Crown claims Haaima has breached his non-communication order three times by contacting the same individual. The most recent contact was allegedly made on Dec. 28, 2022.

Blais said he is working on meeting with Haaima as well as Crown attorneys Megan Cunningham and Megan Williams to speak about the new charges.Article content
