Visiting Wolves tie up an exciting back and forth game in Kingston, but come out on a losing side of an overtime goal
Kingston Frontenacs skated to a 5-4 win over the visiting Sudbury Wolves in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night at the Leon’s Centre.Owen Outwater opened the scoring action for Kingston at 4:41 into the first period. Soto followed with a second goal about 10 minutes later. The scoreboard said 2-0 for Kingston.
The push continued in the second period. Andre Anania fired in Sudbury's second goal to tie the game. That would be followed by yet another Sudbury goal, this time by David Goyette to bring the score up to 3-2 for the Wolves. Leftwinter Francesco Arcuri fired one past Wolves goalie Joe Ranger just 21 seconds into the third. The game was tied.
That sent both teams into overtime. There was almost a minute and a half left on the clock with Soto scored the winner for Kingston.
