Kingsbury wins silver at moguls World Cup, Dufour-Lapointe takes bronze. MORE:

Kingsbury, in his 100th career World Cup start, earned silver with a score of 79.37, finishing behind Japan's Ikuma Horishima . Swedish skier Walter Walberg came in third .

"I had a really great day. It's a bit of a shame about the super final," said the Deux-Montagnes, Que., native."I had a very good run, but I had a tiny bobble on my second jump and the judges were very rigorous. I think I should have gotten a slightly higher score than I did, but it's OK. There's always tomorrow."

Montreal's Dufour-Lapointe clinched bronze with 76.64 points. Kazakhstan's Yulia Galysheva won gold with 79.69 while defending moguls World Cup champion Perrine Laffont of France was second . "I'm very pleased with this podium today, because it's my first win landing my cork," said Dufour-Lapointe."At the start of the season I had set myself a goal to do a cork in competition, so it's a big day for me since I not only achieved that goal but made it to the podium on top of that."
