LOS ANGELES –– The Kings have their second three-game winning streak of the season and they achieved it in convincing fashion, punching down with force at the last-place Ducks during a 4-1 win on Tuesday night at Crypto.com Arena.

Winger Frank Vatrano scored on a power play and Lukas Dostal allowed four goals on 41 shots as the Ducks failed in their bid to get their first three-game winning streak of the season. The tie was broken 6:46 into the second period as the dying gasp of a Kings power play blew a zero off the scoreboard. With a solitary second remaining on the man advantage, Doughty heaved a one-timer from the blue line that found the net through traffic for his second goal of the season.

Kings winger Arthur Kaliyev had a partial breakaway late in the period, but Dostal’s arm sent the puck into the netting and preserved a tie, momentarily.
