It's a day that will go down in history as King Charles is officially crowned, along with his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
Royal fans have been camped out in London for days, all desperate to get a glimpse of the King during today's procession. This morning, members of the public sitting in a grandstand in front of Buckingham Palace erupted into cheers after an announcement saying “coronation day is here”. The stand has around 3,800 seats to host veterans, NHS staff, social care workers and representatives of charitable organisations with links to the royal family.At 10.20pm the King and Queen Consort's will set off from Buckingham Palace, with Charles and Camilla arriving at Westminster Abbey at around 11am. King Charles will be crowned at midday.
