Kim Myung Soo In Talks + Lee Yoo Young Reported To Star In New Rom-Com Drama
On August 21, STARNEWS reported that Kim Myung Soo and Lee Yoo Young will be starring in the new drama “Treat Me Carelessly” .
In response to the report, Kim Myung Soo’s agency LOOKMEDIA Entertainment shared, “Kim Myung Soo has received an offer to star in the new drama ‘Treat Me Carelessly.’ [The actor] is currently reviewing the offer positively.” Lee Yoo Young’s agency has yet to comment on the report. Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Treat Me Carelessly” is a new rom-com drama which tells the story between Shin Yun Bok, a disciple from Seongsan village who is deeply rooted in Confucianism, and his art teacher Kim Hong Do, who has a reckless and straightforward personality.
Kim Myung Soo has reportedly been offered the role of Shin Yun Bok, who is kind to others but strict with himself based on the five Confucian virtues—Benevolence, Righteousness, Courtesy, Wisdom, and Faith. Meanwhile, Lee Yoo Young has been offered to play Kim Hong Do, who has no connections or power and is often disrespected in the fierce design industry but does not give up her dream of becoming a designer.
