The next stage of reconstruction is currently underway at the King's Mill Reservoir following the completion of a new car park. The project will make a ‘huge difference’ to Ashfield and its surrounding areas.
When the building is complete, it will allow residents and visitors to access water sports such as paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, and open-water swimming. The completion of the reservoir is set to be in late 2024.Councillor Matthew Relf, Executive Lead for Growth, Regeneration and Local Planning, said “This is another fantastic project that will make a huge difference to Ashfield and the broader area.
