Kevin Stefanski addressed the Browns 28-3 loss to the Ravens and injuries to Myles Garrett and Ethan Pocic.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Kevin Stefanski clarified that Deshaun Watson was ‘medically cleared to play’ by team doctors on Sunday against the Ravens, and that it was his call not to play with his bruised right shoulder.
“He knows is body, he’s played through serious pain before, very, very serious injuries,” Stefanski said. “It wasn’t a matter of pain tolerance. He just did not feel like he had his full faculties.” Stefanski noted that Watson didn’t feel like he could ‘let it rip’ in the passing game, and hadn’t attempted a long pass in practice, where he was limited all week.
