Lopez filed for divorce on August 20 after months of speculation that the marriage was on the rocks. The filing date was their two-year wedding anniversary. 'I'm a crier,' he told the site at the time. 'I cry all the time. I cry watching episodes of The Flash. I cry watching Degrassi for heaven's sake. But I bawled throughout because it was goddamn beautiful. So beautiful.'
Earlier this year, amid rumors that Affleck and Lopez's relationship was on the rocks, Smith shared at Comic Con, 'Obviously, been going through a thing, or at least that’s what it says in the press and whatnot. Smith also said he planned to speak to Affleck when he begins filming the next Jay and Silent Bob installment in the fall.
