MIAMI — Kevin Magnussen was holidaying in Miami earlier this year when he received a call from his old boss, Haas team principal Guenther Steiner, asking him to return for the 2022 season.
The American-owned team sacrificed their 2021 campaign to focus on this year’s package, and many would argue it’s paying off. “[But] I missed competing at this level. So when I got the chance to come back, I took the opportunity immediately.”As for the possibility of a podium in 2022, he said “anything is possible.”
