forward Kevin Love suffered a hairline fracture to his right thumb during Friday’s double-overtime win against the Charlotte Hornets, which could cause him to miss multiple games.
Love, a five-time All-Star who has become a stabilizing force of Cleveland’s second unit, was injured in the third quarter Friday night. He finished with six points and seven rebounds in 24 minutes -- a night in which the Cavs blew a 10-point lead in the final minute before regrouping and outlasting the Hornets in double OT.
