Kelly Clarkson delivered a stunning cover of DanAndShay's Tequila
Donning a pink floral dress and black boots, Clarkson delivered a mesmerizing rendition of “Tequila” with a driving beat and her memorable vibrato while backed by her band, putting a distinct pop twist on the Grammy Award-winning country song.
An obvious audience favorite, the pre-coronavirus filmed segment included hand claps from the audience while Clarkson showcased her impressive vocal range in the nearly two-minute clip. Since the segment was shot, Clarkson has resumed production of the daytime series with at-home episodes with her crew working remotely.
