He went on to thank the film's writer-director duo, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, for reminding him why he loves acting. Palmer, 29, similarly got emotional about her craft when she took the stage to accept the award for best supporting actress for sci-fi Western"Nope." The former child actress broke out in 2006's"Akeelah and the Bee," and quickly found success as a singer, producer, TV host, and social-media star as well.
