sent her fans into a frenzy on Wednesday morning , when she teased her new"Never Worn White" video with a scene cradling a baby bump.
The tune, unveiled at midnight on Thursday, has Perry taking a more emotional tone than her recent singles, musing over a piano melody. Directed by Paris pair J.A.C.K. , the video is equally ethereal with Perry looking like a queen in white. And very much like a mom in waiting. On it, she sings:"'Cause I’ve never worn white/ But I wanna get it right/ Yeah, I really wanna try with you/ No, I’ve never worn white/ But I’m standing here tonight/ ‘Cause I really wanna say, I do…I do."Perry wrote the piano ballad with Johan Carlsson, John Ryan and Jacob Kasher Hindlin, with Carlsson producing.
