He's only 4, and he's struggling to understand

The Princess of Wales has revealed how Prince Louis is struggling to come to terms with the death of the Queen.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate described her son's confusion to Australia's Governor-General, David Hurley, at a reception held for Commonwealth dignitaries ahead of the Queen's funeral. Kate explained the four-year-old Prince is struggling to understand what has happened. Mr Hurley also said Prince George, nine, is just now realising how important his grandmother was and is. He said: "The younger one is now asking questions like, 'do you think we can still play these games when we go to Balmoral and things like that, because she's not going to be there?'While speaking to mourners last week, she also revealed Prince George understood his grandmother's loss, while Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are struggling more to comprehend it.

Prince Louis, who is only four, will not be attending the Queen's funeral, while the Prince and Princess of Wales' older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, have already marched behind the Queen's coffin. Prince George is now second in line for the throne, after his father Prince William.
