Members of the group which supports fathers through parenthood were left 'in shock' as the Princess of Wales accompanied them on their 'dad walk' through Arnos Park yesterday.
Kate Middleton left a group of devoted fathers 'in shock' after she braved the rain to take a stroll through a park in London with them to emphasise the important role they play in their children's lives.
After telling the group that she did not 'mind going out in the rain', Kate, the fathers and their kids walked through Arnos Park, north London, on November 1 where they took the youngsters to a playground. Founder of the group, Nigel Clarke, is known for his work on The Baby Club on BBC's CBeebies and admitted that the members were 'in shock' after Kate's visit.
"Dads are worried they're going to feel awkward, but in a space like this they relax and open up. We discussed how it's difficult reaching dads, and she asked how we've managed it. The father of two said: "To come down here with the Dadvengers is really cool, these really important messages about early childhood experiences need to be communicated.
