Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has received a response from Haringey Council after she took to social media to ask for help with 'unsettling post' sent about her late husband
Kate Garraway has finally received a response from her local council after her desperate pleas about receiving "unsettling post" post for her late husband Derek Draper. The Good Morning Britain host, 56, took to social media earlier yesterday to address her local Haringey Council in London. She revealed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that she had been trying to contact the council regarding her late husband Derek.
Kate tweeted just after 5pm on Tuesday: "@haringeycouncil - please help - have been trying for ten days to speak to someone about my husband passing away - following unsettling post making demands which obviously he can't respond to. I just cannot get through. Again today nearly 50 mins wait and before I could."
Kate recently shared that she has debts of over £800,000 due to the financial cost of Derek'smedical care over the last four years, but didn't elaborate on X about whether the letters were in relation to this. The response from Haringey Council's account read: "Hello Kate. I'm sorry to hear that. Please send us a DM and provide the details of your enquiry along with your contact details and I'll see what i can do to help. Thank you. PS."
