The Latin Recording Academy has announced the nominees for its 24th annual ceremony, with top nominees representing genres from all over the globe.leads the list with 13 nominations, including four nominations in the top general categories. He’s up for record of the year , album of the year and has two songs nominated for song of the year .
Kevyn Mauricio Cruz Moreno, the songwriter behind Karol G and Shakira’s “TQG,” and countless other Latin hits, is also up for seven awards this year. The Medellín native appears twice in the album of the year category for his work on Karol’s “Mañana Será Bonito” and Ricky Martin’s “Play.
Contenders for best new artist include Latin pop singer Gale and música Mexicana singers Conexión Divina, along with newcomers like Borja, Ana Del Castillo, Natascha Falcão, Paola Guanche, Joaquina, Leon Leiden, Maréh, and Timø. The first group of nominees for the songwriter of the year category features Barrera, Mauricio Cruz, Felipe González Abad, Manuel Lorente Freire, Horacio Palencia andThe 24th annual ceremony will take place in Seville, Spain on Nov.
