The Kansas man in January requested to settle his child custody dispute with a duel.

Until a medical determination is reached, Ostrom is only allowed to see his children between noon and 5 p.m on Saturdays at agency-supervised meetings that he schedules within 60 miles of Harlan, more than 200 miles from his house.
