Tickets to an October game of the Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders have become the most-expensive single NFL tickets of the year so far in the wake of the 2024 football season schedule release Wednesday night, topping a sale price of $600 per ticket and out-pricing admission for the Super-Bowl-Champion Kansas City Chiefs, Vivid Seats said Thursday morning.The Steelers-Raiders game on Oct. 13 is the most expensive game of the season as of 10:30 a.m.
The next three most-expensive games all feature the Chiefs: The Oct. 20 game at the San Francisco 49ers had an average ticket price of $587 as of Thursday morning, followed by the NFL season opener on Sept. 5 at $529 and the Chiefs at Raiders game on Oct. 27, for which tickets cost $484 on average. The No. 5 most-expensive game is the Dallas Cowboys at 49ers on Oct. 27 , followed by the Chief at Steelers on Christmas Day , Cowboys at Steelers on Oct. 6 and Steelers at Broncos on Sept. 15 .
The top-10 most expensive single games as of Thursday morning was rounded out by the Cleveland Browns at Raiders on Sept. 29 and the traditional Thanksgiving Day rivalry of the New York Giants and Cowboys is the tenth most-expensive game with an average ticket price of $357.We’re launching text message alerts so you'll always know the biggest stories shaping the day’s headlines.
Even though ticket sales rise on average almost every year , not every team raises prices at the source each season. For the 2024 season, about a dozen of 32 teams announced they would be raising ticket prices, including the Baltimore, the worst team in the league.
