While Venom is sent on his way, Doom stays behind for a not-so-friendly chat, denigrating his longtime adversary for his seeming inability to adapt to “magical thinking,” without evolving into his hated future-self: Immortus.Kang Rejects Magic To Keep Immortus At Bay Doom’s words in Venom #25 clearly strike a chord with Kang, as the Conqueror dismisses the Latverian Lord from his presence, but this brief exchange clearly highlights one of Kang’s greatest weaknesses.
The Mystic Arts Could Save The MCU Kang's resistance to becoming Immortus leaves magic as his one major blind spot, putting him at a severe disadvantage against some of the more occult heroes he’s bound to face. Ultimately, this could be one of the major advantages the silver screen iterations of Earth's Mightiest Heroes might have against Kang and his many variants.
Of course, Kang being the master strategist that he is in any timeline, it is possible that the MCU will reveal he has already begun working behind the scenes to take these threats off the board. Fans have speculated that Scarlet Witch's breakdown, as seen in WandaVision, could be revealed to be the result of Kang's manipulations. Kang the Conqueror earned his moniker by quashing any resistance that stands in his way.
