Football Fever ⚽️ Kaizer Motaung, IFP hail doyen of SA football ‘Sugar Ray’ Xulu
While he expressed his “heartfelt condolences to the families and friends” of Xulu, Motaung also hailed Sugar Ray for his “immense contribution to the development of football and as one of the doyens of South African football history”.
“Mr Cedric ‘Sugar Ray’ Xulu played soccer during the difficult times in our country when black people were prohibited from many opportunities to establish themselves in their talents and prosper,” said the IFP in a statement.
