'Kaizer Chiefs were not good enough' - Johnson after Polokwane stalemate

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - MARCH 05: Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson during the DStv Premiership match between Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows at FNB Stadium on March 05, 2024 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Chiefs missed the chance to seal a top eight spot with a match to spare after they drew blanks with Rise and Shine. "We got a few chances but not clear-cut chances and yes, we should have played better. I'm not happy with the way we're ending the second-last game. We can come out a lot better or we have come out of the last games looking much stronger, looking much better and we didn't get that aggression today from our players," he said.

"All we can say is we got a point from the game, we could be happy but we have to do better next time."
