Kaizer Chiefs have reiterated their plans in the January transfer window. They've isolated two key areas of weakness in the squad.
Amakhosi technical staff want to ship out George Matlou and bring in a few attack-minded players when January rolls around.
“Although he has resumed training after his knee surgery, it doesn’t necessarily mean he is in the coach’s plans for this season. To ensure he gets the opportunity to play, they are likely looking to loan him out. The club is believed to be searching for a team that needs him and is willing to agree to the loan terms and conditions. Given that his contract runs until June 2025, there is also a possibility that the loaning team could negotiate a permanent transfer,” an insider revealed.
