However, his price might have just gone up. The experienced front man moved from Nasreddine Nabi’s old club Young Africans to Pyramids FC last year and he picked up where he left off in Tanzania.
Another striker who definitely won’t be moving to Naturena is Lebo Mothiba. The 28-year-old was is in Belgium for a medical with giants Standard Liege on Tuesday, according toon X. French is the prevalent language spoken at Liege so Mothiba will fit in nicely after becoming fluent in the language. Mothiba was a Sundowns junior before embarking on his French adventure in 2014 where he turned out for Lille, Valenciennes, Troyes and Strasbourg. The 2023-2024 campaign wasn’t one to remember, however, as he made just 15 league appearances and scored three goals. Overall his numbers in France are solid; he scored. Mothiba also has a healthy strike rate for Bafana Bafana with four goals in 14 caps.
