Sekgota was hailed Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane as a 'star player' in the Amakhosi squad earlier this season. He’s also been one of Chiefs' most dangerous attackers this season and earned himself a call-up to the national team.
"In terms of the Qatar FIFA World Cup starting this weekend, we wish we could have qualified to represent our country," Sekgota told Chiefs official site. Meanwhile back home, Sekgota was brought on a second-half substitute during Bafana's 2-1 win against Mozambique on Thursday night.
