Kaizer Chiefs' new star Kamohelo Mahlatsi has the potential to match Mamelodi Sundowns’ striker Peter Shalulile, according to his former coach Dylan Kerr.
"Obviously different roles but he has the same characteristics; gets in very good positions and just needs to take his chances more often and keep things a bit simpler" Kerr adds.Mahlatsi recently completed from Swallows to Kaizer Chiefs as part of a three-man deal which included George Matlou and Dillon Solomons.
The attacking midfielder joined Swallows from Supersport United in 2020 following an impressive loan spell at the University of Pretoria. He was also of the Bafana Bafana squad at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.With only one goal and one assist in his 23 league appearances for Swallows last season, he hasn’t set the league alight yet but Kerr believes it’s only a matter of time.
