Lekay has been trialing with Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs ahead of a potential move to Naturena for the 2022/23 season and confirmed his departure from TS Galaxy in an emotional farewell message over the weekend.Taking to social media, the 25-year-old, who scored seven times in 48 games for Galaxy, posted a heartfelt message to the club’s fans and chairman Tim Sukazi for the support shown in him over the last two seasons.
“A big thanks to the TS Galaxy staff, players and everyone and at the club. You’ve made it a home. A special thanks to President Tim Sukazi for giving me the opportunity and for that I will be forever grateful. Wherever the Lord places me, I promise to fly your flag high," Lekay said.
