Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates manager Muhsin Ertugral has discussed why Itumeleng Khune didn’t seal a switch to Turkey.Mushin Ertugral, who used to analyze the Turkish national team, has“I remember at the World Cup when he played in the World Cup when I was analysing for the Turkish team. And everybody, even from Germany, from Italy, in France were talking, ‘wow, I have never seen a goalkeeper do that,’ and it was at that time like revolutionary, 2010,” Ertugral said.
“ never seen goalkeepers that precise in his build-up process. I think it’s been too much minimised about Itu’s possibility, that it was world-class. Itu was a bit unlucky on the height. So, this is genetics. If he had been one head taller, he would have played in England or Germany.”FORMER KAIZER CHIEFS STAR BILLIAT IS INJURED AGAIN
Billiat joined Yadah recently after almost eight months out of football after leaving Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the 2022-23 campaign. His switch to the Harare outfit surprised many, and he’s made five appearances for the club since joining. However, he’s now picked up a shin injury in a 2-0 defeat to Simba Bhora that will keep him on the sidelines for a couple of weeks. This injury occurred early in the match.
A victory has appeared elusive for Ruzive’s men, who have failed to register a win in five attempts. Yadah Stars are rock-bottom of the Castle Lager Premiership with two points after five outings. Yadah FC boss Walter Magaya says he can’t compare ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker Khama Billiat with Lionel Messi but expects him to shine. Image:
