Junior Khanye is never shy to have an opinion on Kaizer Chiefs, but this one regarding Molefi Ntseki turned out to be spot on.

Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye was again the centre of attention on social media after Amakhosi parted ways with their head coach Molefi Ntseki on Monday.38-year-old former Chiefs star Junior Khanye said the club was heading in the wrong direction when they appointed Molefi Ntseki. He went so far as to say that the former Bafana boss wouldn’t make it to Christmas. He turned out to be right.

“Why did Chiefs appoint Ntseki as a head of technical and youth development when they made Arthur head coach?” Khanye asked in an interview with “Where does he get the experience to take out the best of players at an early age? Ensure that young and exciting players are promoted,” he said in July.Chiefs were knocked out of the Carling Knockout Cup by AmaZulu, sparking another incidence of fan violence directed at Ntseki. This seemingly made his position at the club untenable. After just three months, the club has parted ways with the 54-year-old.

“According to me, this was his last game. I don’t think he’ll come back but if he comes back, he’ll be taking a big risk,” said Khanye.
