Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly found a successor to the considerable throne of Itumeleng Khune. Big gloves to fill!
. Khune, is now in his 17th season with the club he’s served with such distinction. He recently made his 364th appearance for Amakhosi, the most of any player in the club’s PSL era history. The 2023-24 campaign will be his last at the club as a player.Katlehong-born Lungile Nkosi, still just 20, is a man the Chiefs management expects big things from in the future.
He recently recovered from a nine-month injury layoff and is ready to go again. Alongside Bernard Parker’s cousin Donay Janse, Nkosi has been invited to train with the senior side after excelling with the Diski Challenge structure.Included in upcoming matches are two clashes against Mother City sides in the shape of Cape Town City and Spurs, and two Soweto Derby battles with Orlando Pirates and Swallows.
