Nasreddine Nabi is the current front-runner for the Chiefs hot seat. Moreover, However, shocking statements from Nabi have opened up the possibility to Pitso Mosimane taking over at Chiefs. Regardless, whoever is appointed will be bringing their own technical team.Therefore, Dillon Sheppard could be axed, or at the very least – demoted.
However, Zwane is no longer a part of the first team technical staff at Amakhosi. Currently, he is current development coach. He is in charge of overseeing the future coaches and stars of Chiefs. Meaning, he is more likely to retain his role than the current technical staff. This is because the new Chiefs coach will only be bringing first team technical staff.Cavin Johnson has just finished his tenure as interim coach. Meaning, he faces an uncertain future.
So, If he returns to Head of Academy then Zwane may be demoted. Also, the Chiefs hierarchy could also opt to keep Zwane ahead of Johnson. Finally, they may work together. It will be interesting to see what Amakhosi management decide.
