Kaizer Chiefs are continuing the refinement of their squad and that includes contract talks with veterans. Two are heading out the door.
According to a Phakaaathi report, Sifiso Hlanti could leave the Glamour Boys when his contract expires in June 2024.
“According to a source in the know, Chiefs have been keeping tabs on Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch FC and are planning to make him an offer once the current campaign wraps up,” reports “Stellenbosch has given the nod to sell Fawaaz Basadien to Kaizer Chiefs when the season ends. Sibongiseni Mthethwa, a new arrival from Stellenbosch, is set to be the starting number 6 under Molefi Ntseki. Yusuf Maart and Edson Castillo were deployed alongside him in a midfield three against. It seems as though Siyethemba Sithebe is now far down the pecking order.
