Yusuf Maart scored the only goal of the game at the FNB Stadium with an exquisite finish from behind the half-way line to hand Amakhosi all three points. The result saw Zwane's side move into third place with 21 points and left Pirates in fifth place on 19 points, both from 13 matches played.
"We knew that going into half-time, we had them. They had no space to breathe, and you could see that they were now doubting themselves. "But at the same time, also make a change that will make them panic. We had them in the first half, we were just unfortunate not to score. We were supposed to go to the break leading 2-1 or 2-0."
