Kaizer Chiefs have signed a new international star from Uruguay. It's the former Mamelodi Sundowns star Gaston Sirino.
After ending his six-year career with Sundowns, the 33-year-old Uruguayan has signed for“We have decided to add some experience in our team by bringing in Sirino,” Motaung Jr told the club’s website, as quoted by. “We know his quality and we believe he will help us this coming season and looking forward to him sharing his experience with our younger players.”
“We are not done signing yet. We are looking at players in certain positions where we feel we are lacking. There are meetings and activities going on behind closed doors as we look at strengthening the squad for the season ahead,” Motaung Jr said as quoted by“We are working hand in hand with the head coach and his technical team to get the right players for the right positions where we need them.
