Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson isn't ruling the Glamour Boys out of the title race just yet. Why though?
Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson believes it’s still too early to say whether Amakhosi are out of the title race. That despite them being 13 points adrift of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Amakhosi have collected just 11 points from 10 games while defending champions and runaway leaders Sundowns still boast a 100% record in the league. They have 24 points from eight matches. However, new interim boss Cavin Johnson hasn’t ruled his side out of the PSL title race yet. “It’s too early to call it off, Sundowns are playing many, many competitions, Pirates are playing many, many competitions, Supersport they playing many competitions. We are playing many competitions,” Johnson told journalists when asked whether Chiefs’ title chase was already over in October.“I think it’s early to talk who will win the league. Especially with the big AFL in front of Sundowns.”
