Kaizer Chiefs are looking to make another offer for Cape Town Spurs winger Asanele Velebayi. Amakhosi’s first offer was turned down.have had their first offer rejected but the Soweto giants appear to make another bid. The 21-year-old played 23 games for the Urban Warriors last season, scoring once.
According to reports, Velebayi will only be sold if the price is right and Kaizer Chiefs are expected to bid again. Spurs have said in the past that they are not willing to sell. A source told“Asenele is young so it makes sense that Spurs are trying to get more money from his proposed transfer. The player is also interested in joining Chiefs, but for now he has to focus on his current club as Chiefs prepare to go back to Spurs with an improved offer,” said the source.
